MY STORY

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to a career centered around helping others and giving back to my community. That passion grew from early experiences participating in fundraisers for Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, being a second-generation North County native, and playing competitive sports throughout my youth.

During my undergraduate studies at Sonoma State University, majoring in Kinesiology allowed me to gain my first true appreciation for the human body—how it grows, adapts, and develops. Courses in anatomy, physiology, child development, and education formed the foundation that inspired me to pursue physical therapy as a calling.

I continued my education at the University of St. Augustine, where I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. There, I deepened my understanding of how the body works, heals, and learns—skills that guided my path toward both pediatric habilitation and adult rehabilitation, helping individuals maximize their function and quality of life.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I’ve had the privilege of treating patients from newborns to adults, but my greatest passion lies in supporting the pediatric population, new mothers, and growing families. I’ve been fortunate to work with children and their caregivers on everything from pediatric wellness and tummy-time education to developmental delays and chronic or progressive conditions.

Every family’s journey is unique—from the moment they discover they are expecting, through pregnancy, postpartum care, and the milestones of early childhood. I am continually humbled and honored to play a role in these moments, helping each family feel supported, empowered, and confident as they grow together.
